NOTEWORTHY NEWS

One of the greatest midfielders of his generation, Thomas Muller is set to join the Vancouver Whitecaps of the MLS. Since his debut in 2005, Muller spent his entire career starring for Bayern Munich. He also scored five goals and led Germany to victory in the 2014 World Cup. So if you get a chance this summer, go watch Muller play.

Two all-stars went on the injured list yesterday. Athletics rookie Jacob Wilson saw his standout season come to a halt with a broken arm. And the nightmare season in Atlanta keeps getting worse, as Ronald Acuña Jr. was placed on the IL with an Achilles injury. Hoping for the best for both talented ballplayers.

There weren’t any big-time deals yesterday, but we did get this pretty great moment in Baltimore:
